A new display promoting TRON Lightcycle Run at the Magic Kingdom features a close-up view of the ride vehicles and reveals a brand new sponsor. We now know that Enterprise will be the sponsor for the futuristic attraction that will alter the look and feel of Tomorrowland.
But before going into sponsorship talk, let’s check out those ride vehicles.
Guests are able to sit on the Lightcycles to get an idea for the overall size and fit. Most reports suggest the ride vehicles are more accommodating to guests of varying sizes than you might think. Head on over to Tomorrowland and see what you think.
The other noteworthy item here is the Enterprise logo that appears on the display. “Presented by Enterprise” also appears just below the TRON Lightcycle Run name. Enterprise, the car rental company headquartered in St. Louis, Missouri (our hometown!), will be the first major company in recent memory to sponsor an attraction at Walt Disney World. This comes after the Siemens partnership ended at Spaceship Earth and after large attractions opened at Walt Disney World without sponsors (Flight of Passage, Smugglers Run, Rise of the Resistance) as it would ruin thematic integrity.
TRON Lightcycle Run is expected to open at the Magic Kingdom in 2021.
