Guests hoping to ride Toy Story Mania at Disney’s Hollywood Studios will have to wait in the standby line as work on Toy Story Land temporarily closes the FastPass line for the attraction.
As seen on WDWMagic, the FastPass line is expected to close on April 9th, 2018 before reopening on May 7th, 2018. During that time, the standby line will be the only way to visit the Toy Story Mania attraction.
The FastPass line closure is due to the ongoing work that will move the ride’s entrance from its current location in Pixar Place over to the new Toy Story Land that opens on June 30th, 2018. Once Toy Story Land is open, Pixar Place will become a backstage location.
With guests unable to make a FastPass reservation for Toy Story Mania during the closure, competition for FastPass reservations for the park’s remaining rides should increase.
