Lightning McQueen’s Racing Academy is scheduled to open at Disney’s Hollywood Studios on March 31, 2019. As the final preparations continue for the attraction inside the Sunset Showcase building, a new sign has popped up near Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster.
The sign promoting the attraction may not be fully complete, but it looks like the area is almost ready to welcome guests.
To date, we know that guests visiting the attraction will be surrounded by a screen that’s nearly 200 feet long and almost two stories high. There, a life-size Lightning McQueen animatronic will show off what he has learned during his career using his brand new racing simulator. He’ll be joined by his friends and things, like you’d expect, don’t go according to plan.
