Epcot’s Test Track attraction will reportedly close for refurbishment for a little over a month in early 2020. The ride is expected to close beginning January 13, 2020 and running through February 26, 2020.
No major changes or upgrades are expected to be made during this refurbishment period. However, it’s believed the ride’s software will be upgraded in an effort to improve the attraction’s overall uptime. Test Track routinely sees unexpected downtime for a variety of factors beyond the daily Florida rain.
It’s worth noting that the planned refurbishment dates are subject to change and could move around the calendar some. The ride’s closure may shift depending on when Disney decides to begin the lengthy overhaul of Spaceship Earth.
Assuming all things go according to plan, the ride should reopen on February 27, 2020.
