Star Wars stage show in Hollywood Studios closing temporarily for concrete work

The Star Wars stage show at Hollywood Studios will close temporarily for concrete work beginning in September. The show Star Wars: A Galaxy Far, Far Away features characters from throughout the Star Wars universe appearing on stage daily for guests.

According to WDWMagic, the show will go on a brief hiatus beginning at the end of September before returning once the concrete work is complete.

This move was originally believed to be a cost-cutting decision as it comes as other entertainment options are being eliminated or being moved into seasonal operation, such as Rafiki’s Planet Watch at Animal Kingdom. Thankfully, that doesn’t appear to be the case here, as the show is expected to return once the work is complete.
