Spaceship Earth has received an update to its nighttime lighting package for the holidays! Disney Imagineer Zach Riddley shared a preview of the update that transforms Spaceship Earth into some festive designs.

Spaceship Earth’s new nighttime lighting was one of the best additions from Walt Disney World’s 50th anniversary. It’s mesmerizing in person and truly breathtaking. We had hoped the lights would be updated periodically, and it appears Disney is taking that idea to heart.
Guests should see lighting schemes resembling the Aurora Borealis, candy canes, and more. The new holiday lighting patterns can be seen along with Spaceship Earth’s normal nighttime lights through December 30, 2021.
