Construction on the Disney Skyliner, the new gondola transportation system at Disney World, continues to progress. With work on the towers and stations moving along very quickly, we’re starting to get a good idea of how the finished product will look. One potential surprise is how close some of the towers are to guest rooms at Caribbean Beach Resort.
The photos here, courtesy of WDWtraveler over at WDWMagic.com, show a couple towers that sit extremely close to rooms at Caribbean Beach Resort.
These towers appear to be some of the largest within the Disney Skyliner project, potentially in an effort to keep the noise by these rooms to a minimum. The Skyliner system should be fairly quiet while operating in the first place, but the taller towers should also assist in keeping the noise down for those staying in those rooms.
This will be a project to keep an eye on if you’re planning on staying at Caribbean Beach Resort in the future.
The Skyliner will provide a new transportation option for the resort, connecting it to Hollywood Studios and the International Gateway at Epcot. That luxury will inevitably increase room rates. Future guests at Caribbean Beach Resort will want to read some reviews regarding the Skyliner’s noise before booking and making their building preference selections.
