The second of five enormous barges for Harmonious, Epcot’s new nighttime spectacular, has been installed in World Showcase Lagoon. This second taco-shaped barge is nearly identical to the first that arrived back in December.
Like the first barge, the second one dramatically changes the views seen around World Showcase.

A total of five barges will be installed for Harmonious – four like the ones pictured above and one massive circular barge that resembles a Stargate. The barges will act as fountains during the day before deploying screens, lights and fireworks at night.
Now that the second barge is in place, we’re still left with plenty of questions. How loud will the fountains be when they’re running? Will the constant flow of water lead to inevitable maintenance issues? Why has Disney moved away from their old philosophy of hiding show elements?
Harmonious is expected to debut to guests later this year.
