We have an update on the Salt & Straw location coming to Disney Springs! The popular boutique ice cream establishment told Click Orlando that they hope to open in March 2022 at Walt Disney World.
Alison Hiatt, Chief Market Officer for Salt & Straw, told Click Orlando:
“We are THRILLED to say we plan to open in March — exact timeline still pending construction — but that is our current plan.”
It’s exciting to hear Salt & Straw is targeting a March 2022 opening. But, construction delays and supply chain delays could push the opening later into Spring 2022.
This is the first significant update on Salt & Straw at Disney Springs since it was announced they were coming to Walt Disney World back in June 2021. The Disney Springs location will be Salt & Straw’s second Disney location, with the first at the Downtown Disney District near Disneyland.
We can’t wait to welcome Salt & Straw to Disney Springs in the near future.
