Rogers: The Musical is Coming to Disney California Adventure

Updated:

It’s happening! Disney is bringing a version of Rogers: The Musical to Disney California Adventure. The show will be based on the fictional Rogers: The Musical show that was depicted in the Disney+ series Hawkeye.

The one-act musical will play in the Hyperion Theater for a limited time this summer.

Summary via Marvel.com:

For anyone out there who has long dreamed of seeing a real-life production ofย Rogers: The Musical, your dreams are about to come true. Starting this summer for a limited-time engagement, a short one-act version ofย Rogers: The Musicalย will debut on the Hyperion Stage inside California Adventure Park. More details will be announced at a later date

Disney fans have begged for a real version of Rogers: The Musical ever since it appeared in Hawkeye. A full version of the “Save the City” song, which has the iconic “I could do this all day” line, was included as a mid-credit scene in one of the episodes.

The songs are brilliant, clever, and extremely catchy.

This is a no-brainer for Disney. We’re just surprised it took them so long to turn Rogers: The Musical into an actual show, albeit an abbreviated theme park version.
