Port Canaveral was the home of a rare and special Disney moment on Wednesday as three Disney Cruise Line ships docked beside one another. Usually it’s quite rare to see even two ships next to each other in port, but cancellations during the health crisis led to this magical moment where the Disney Magic, Disney Fantasy and Disney Dream all docked together.
Normally, the four Disney Cruise Line ships rarely cross paths due to their varied itineraries that take place around the globe. The Disney Dream and Disney Fantasy will occasionally dock together between itineraries in the Caribbean, but even that is an unusual sight.
The three ships are docked as Disney Cruise Line begins to help their crew members return home. As of the date of this article, all sailings are cancelled through at least June 18, 2020 with the Disney Magic cancelled through at least July 2, 2020 and the Disney Wonder through the end of June. Those cancellations are expected to be extended as Disney CEO Bob Chapek says Disney Cruise Line will likely be their last division to reopen.
