Disney Cruise Line cancels all departures through June 18

Disney Cruise Line has officially cancelled all departures for their ships through June 18, 2020. In addition, all departures for the Disney Wonder are cancelled through the end of June and for the Disney Magic through July 2.

The announcement was made on the Disney Cruise Line website and outlines that guests have the option of receiving a full refund or a credit for a new cruise within 15 months of their original sail date.

Previously, the CDC issued a “No Sail Order” in early April that was scheduled to last for the next 100 days or until the order was lifted. That would theoretically cancel all cruises through the middle of July unless the order is shortened or extended. Disney Cruise Line has elected to take a more staggered approach to their cancellations, removing itineraries in waves rather than in large chunks.

Guests with cruise reservations beyond June 18, 2020 should keep a close eye on the Disney Cruise Line website as things evolve. Everything is quite fluid at this time and it’s unclear when Disney Cruise Line will resume sailing.
