Port Canaveral is getting ready to welcome the Disney Wish, the newest ship to join Disney Cruise Line’s fleet. The Disney Wish is set to arrive on June 20, 2022 and will sail voyages to the Bahamas. Ahead of the arrival of the Disney Wish, Port Canaveral is saying goodbye to the Disney Dream.
FAREWELL DISNEY DREAM: From the time you were born, you’ve called Port Canaveral home. The 11 years you’ve been part of our Port Family have been wonderous and magical, but you’re all grown up now and your time has come to make new memories. pic.twitter.com/XSvtrnZBFW

Good Riddance by Green Day can make just about everything emotional – even a cruise ship changing ports.
The Disney Dream will leave Port Canaveral and will begin sailing out of Miami before moving to Europe in 2023. The Disney Dream has been at Port Canaveral for all of its 11 years, which made the goodbye a sad one.
Port Canaveral will soon be home to the Disney Wish and will continue to be home to the Disney Fantasy. The Disney Wish will take over the Bahamian itineraries from the Disney Dream while the Fantasy will continue to sail Eastern and Western Caribbean voyages.
The Disney Wish will sail its maiden voyage on July 14, 2022.
