The Disney Wish finally has an arrival date at Port Canaveral. Disney Cruise Line’s newest ship will arrive on June 20, 2022 at Port Canaveral before its christening ceremony on June 29, 2022. The ship will be in port for just under a month before making its inaugural voyage on July 14, 2022.
Disney Cruise Line presented its schedule for the arrival of the Disney Wish to the commissioners of Port Canaveral. There Disney Cruise Line outlined both the arrival of the Wish at Cruise Terminal 8 and 10 as well as the details of the christening ceremony near the end of June.
The approved plans involve Disney Cruise Line setting up bleachers, lightning and more technical equipment for the christening ceremony. Disney Cruise Line also outlined plans for a “fireboat and tugs escort with water salute” for the maiden voyage.
Upon making its maiden voyage, the Disney Wish will take over sailing Bahamian itineraries from Port Canaveral. Guests on the Disney Wish will enjoy 3-night and 4-night sailings that visit Nassau, Bahamas and Disney’s island Castaway Cay.
