Park hopping returns to Walt Disney World January 1, 2021 (with some modifications)

Park hopping is coming back to Walt Disney World! The ability to visit multiple Walt Disney World theme parks in the same day will return on January 1, 2021. However, some new modifications will be in place when park hopping initially returns.

Guests with a Park Hopper ticket or with an annual pass must make a reservation at their first theme park using the Disney Park Pass Reservation System. Then, guests are instructed to check the Park Hopper hours for that day before heading to their second theme park. Park Hopper hours are expected to begin at 2pm each day, but may vary depending on crowds.

Disney is not requiring a second reservation for guests who want to visit a second theme park at this time. Guests who have made an initial reservation can freely hop to a different theme park as long as it’s after the Park Hopper hours begin.

Disney notes that the theme parks are subject to capacity restrictions. This means that not all parks may be available for park hopping during Walt Disney World’s busiest days.
