Opening of the Walt Disney World Swan Reserve delayed to October 2021

The opening of the Walt Disney World Swan Reserve hotel has been delayed. The opening of the brand new resort has been pushed back to October 2021 from its original September 2021 opening. The change was first published on Marriott’s website.

The first bookable date online for the Walt Disney World Swan Reserve is October 13, 2021. Guests who had reservations before this date will be contacted with a plan for different accommodations.

Once open, the Walt Disney World Swan Reserve will add 349 rooms to the Swan and Dolphin Resort complex. Guests staying at the Swan Reserve will be able to enjoy amenities at both the Swan and Dolphin hotels. The Swan Reserve itself will also add Amare Mediterranean restaurant to the impressive list of dining options already available at the Swan and Dolphin.

The 14-story Swan Reserve is impossible to miss in the skyline in the Epcot Resort area. Guests should have some pretty amazing views of the fireworks each night around Walt Disney World.

Following multiple delays, hopefully the Swan Reserve will be able to open as planned in mid-October.
