New poster revealed for Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway

Disney has revealed a brand new poster for Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway! The poster offers a drastically different look for the attraction that’s set to open at Disney’s Hollywood Studios in Spring 2020.

Take a look at the underwater poster that promises guests will burst into a world where “mouse rules” apply.

It kind of has a Little Mermaid feel to it, doesn’t it?

We now know that Mickey and Minnie’s picnic will take a deep dive under the water and some sea life will play a disruptive role. Compare the poster above to the official description from Disney.

The darling duo are taking a leisurely drive to a picnic in their sporty roadster—with Conductor Goofy’s train following merrily along. Plot twist—you get to go, too! Climb aboard a runaway railway and embark on a whirlwind ride through a world where the rules of physics don’t apply. Prepare for unexpected twists, slapstick gags and mind-boggling transformations at every turn, as Mickey and Minnie try to save the day.

Early concept art for the attraction appears to show the early stages of the journey before things go off the rails, so to speak.

While the loss of the Great Movie Ride is still a tough subject for some Disney fans, this Mickey and Minnie ride looks like it will be a must-do adventure. It’s long overdue for Mickey and Minnie to star in their own attraction at Walt Disney World and we can’t wait to experience this at Disney’s Hollywood Studios in 2020.
