Disney’s recent executive leadership changes promoted Walt Disney World president Josh D’Amaro to the Chairman of Disney Parks, Experiences and Products. D’Amaro taking over the role left behind by new Disney CEO Bob Chapek resulted in Jeff Vahle becoming the new president of Walt Disney World.
During D’Amaro’s brief tenure at Walt Disney World, he made a strong personal impact with cast members and guests. He even connected with the Disney community through social media by using his Instagram to provide a genuine and fascinating look at Walt Disney World. Vahle appears intent to carry on that idea.
Vahle has created a brand new Instagram account and was already sharing with Disney fans during the reopening of Disney Springs.
We have thoroughly enjoyed how D’Amaro used Instagram during his time at the parks and it’s great to see Vahle following a similar path.
So, who is Vahle? Prior to taking over as the president of Walt Disney World, Vahle was the head of Disney Signature Experiences, which includes Disney Cruise Line, Disney Vacation Club and Adventures by Disney. He has 30 years of experience with the Walt Disney Company and has served in a variety of leadership roles involving operations, technology and engineering.
