Disney has revealed some new details on the Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser hotel that’s coming to Walt Disney World. The immersive two-night Star Wars experience will open to guests beginning in 2022.
We’ve already learned about some of the activities on the Galactic Starcruiser, but now Disney has shared new concept art about the guest experience.
For starters, the lightsabers Star Wars characters will use look awfully convincing. Check out the video below of Disney’s new “real” lightsaber.

Disney also revealed one of the dining experiences on the Galactic Starcruiser. The Crown of Corellia Dining Room will serve breakfast, lunch and a multi-course dinner to guests during their stay. A singing performance will be put on by a character Disney describes as a “galactic superstar who can captivate an entire room with the crook of one jewel-encrusted purple Twi’lek finger.”
