Muppet Vision 3D now has reduced operating hours at Hollywood Studios

Guests now have a smaller window during the day to visit Muppet Vision 3D at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. The attraction is now reportedly open from 10am to 6pm as of October 2018.

The change is believed to be a cost-saving measure. With relatively small crowds visiting this area in the park near the opening and closing times, this change likely won’t be noticed by too many guests. Due to the nighttime entertainment at Hollywood Studios, such as Fantasmic! and Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular, the area near Muppet Vision 3D is often deserted once the sun sets.

This change could be categorized as a seasonal one that will revert back during busier times with larger crowds.

However, this does raise the question about what the future holds for the Muppets in Disney World. The quantity of Muppets merchandise has been shrinking at Hollywood Studios, and now their only attraction is operating on reduced hours.
