We finally have an official opening date for Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway at Disney’s Hollywood Studios! The brand new attraction will open inside the Chinese Theater on March 4, 2020.
This news comes not too long after Disney revealed some concept art for the attraction that depicted Mickey, Minnie and guests going on an undersea adventure.
The attraction has been described as one where guests will step through the movie screen and “burst into a world where mouse rules apply.” It sounds like things will be zany and completely off the wall just as they are in a Mickey Mouse cartoon.
We can’t wait for Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway to open! While we’re still a bit bummed it replaces the Great Movie Ride and isn’t going into a new structure, we’re glad that Mickey and Minnie will finally have their own dedicated ride.
