Journey of Water, Inspired by “Moana” is a new attraction coming to Epcot

Updated:

The first of many announcements for Epcot’s transformation has been officially revealed! Journey of Water, Inspired by “Moana” is a new attraction that will be coming to an area near The Seas pavilion in an overhauled section of Future World.

Disney described the attraction as one where guests will “interact with magical, living water in a beautiful and inspiring setting.” The concept art depicts what appears to be a walk-through attraction.

This new feature looks like it will reside in an area that’s currently occupied by Innoventions West near The Seas pavilion. It has been widely rumored that Innoventions West would be demolished in Future World’s overhaul, and that has now been confirmed in Epcot’s new concept art.

Details on the Journey of Water are limited at this time, but more information may be revealed later during the D23 Expo.
