Gideon’s Bakehouse Adds a New Permanent Cookie Flavor

Gideon’s Bakehouse at Disney Springs has maintained six permanent cookie flavors on its menu since it opened in January 2021. That’s changing beginning in January 2023, as a new cookie flavor is joining the list of regular flavors.

The Banana Bread Chocolate Chip Cookie is now a permanent offering at Gideon’s Bakehouse.

Gideon’s Bakehouse announced the change on Instagram:

“Finally, I was going to replace Banana Bread Chocolate Chip this month, but … I just can’t. I love it too much. It is now officially the first new permanent flavor, and the limit per person at the counter is now 7 Cookies instead of 6.⁣”

The Banana Bread Chocolate Chip Cookie is a vanilla bean cookie blended with real bananas, a mix of dark and semisweet chocolates, candied walnuts, and finely crushed banana chips.

Regular Gideon’s Bakehouse Cookie Menu at Disney Springs:

  • Original Chocolate Chip
  • Pistachio Toffee Chocolate
  • Peanut Butter Crunch
  • Triple Chocolate Chip
  • Cookies & Cream
  • Candied Walnut
  • Banana Bread Chocolate Chip

This is the first time Gideon’s Bakehouse has made a permanent change to its cookie roster since it opened its Disney Springs location. They announce limited-time flavors each month (we love the Frankenstein and Bride of Frankenstein), but none of those cookies have stuck around.

Not interested in the banana chocolate chip cookie flavor? We can all celebrate the increased cookie limit that allows guests to buy up to 7 cookies per person, up from the previous 6. More half-pound cookies to enjoy!
