Cast members and their guests have been flying high in the sky as the Disney Skyliner completes its final rounds of testing before opening later this month. These previews have showcased the incredible views seen from the Disney Skyliner as well as the emergency precautions in place should the system unexpectedly shut down.
Each cabin has an emergency call button that guests can use to contact a cast member in the event of a serious problem. There’s also an emergency kit located inside each cabin that comes stocked with supplies that can assist during a lengthy delay. The following information was shared by a Disney cast member. Guests are not advised to open the emergency kits unless there’s an emergency.
Disney Skyliner Emergency Kits include:
- Instant ice
- Emergency drinking water
- Glow sticks
- Notepad
- Pencil
- Vomit bags
Early reviews have stated that the Disney Skyliner cabins stay relatively cool while in motion due to the constant airflow. However, some reviews have stated that things heat up quickly if the cabins stop moving. Guests should be somewhat relieved to know there’s instant ice and water in each cabin that can be used during a long delay or in the event of an evacuation.
Will you ride the Disney Skyliner when it opens?
