Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon is expected to reopen to Walt Disney World guests in the near future. That statement has been said several times since it closed in March 2020, but we can now see the water park is staged for guests.

The tubes, chairs and flowing water make it look like Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon could reopen any day now.

A variety of maintenance projects took place during the extended closure. One of the largest was when crews worked on the massive pumps in the berm behind the park’s legendary wave pool.
Disney has not announced when Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon will reopen at this time. However, Disney’s Blizzard Beach is expected to go down for its annual refurbishment in January. If that timeline holds, Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon will finally welcome guests back soon.
