Disney World Annual Passholder Discounts Temporarily Increasing in June 2023

Walt Disney World annual passholders will be able to save a bit more money in June 2023. Disney is increasing merchandise discounts and dining discounts for annual passholders beginning May 31, 2023 through June 30.

The annual passholder discount for merchandise will temporarily increase from 20% to 30% at select Disney owned and operated locations. Click here to see the list of the usual participating merchandise locations.

The annual passholder discount for food and non-alcoholic drinks will also temporarily increase from 10% to 20% at select locations. Click here to see the list of the usual participating dining locations.

Disney is making a pretty significant push for its annual passholders this June. In addition to the increased discounts, annual passholders will have a new reserved section in EPCOT’s Land Pavilion in June. The space in Sunshine Seasons will give annual passholders a place to “cool off and take a break” while at EPCOT.

These changes suggest Disney is anticipating a slower start to the 2023 summer season. Disney hasn’t had to rely as much on annual passholders while Walt Disney World attendance surged, but now that the economy is tightening, they’re increasing annual passholder perks. This matches previous patterns where Disney will focus more heavily on its most reliable guests when regular-ticketed guest attendance dips.
