Disney will test new fireworks show for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party the morning of October 24

Disney is hard at work preparing a brand new fireworks show that will debut during Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. With the first party scheduled for November 8, Disney is planning to test its new fireworks show the morning of October 24 around 6:15 am.

A notice was posted on the Walt Disney World Cast and Community Facebook page alerting guests and residents in the area of the test.

While an early wake-up call may not sound too appealing for guests on vacation, these types of tests are a great opportunity to catch an early preview of the new show. Guests staying around the Magic Kingdom in early August had a great view of Disney’s Not So Spooky Spectacular prior to its debut.

The brand new fireworks spectacular for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party will take the place of the old Holiday Wishes fireworks show. This new offering should match the current Halloween and Happily Ever After shows by featuring projections, lasers and – of course – lots of fireworks.
