Disney Planning Fireworks Testing at EPCOT on September 10

Disney is reportedly planning to conduct fireworks tests at EPCOT on September 10, 2023. Guests staying at resorts around EPCOT should expect to hear fireworks testing beginning around 10pm on September 10 and lasting until approximately 1am September 11.

Disney has not provided any information on the tests, but they are believed to be for EPCOT’s new fireworks show that’s supposed to debut later in 2023. In fact, Disney hasn’t provided too many details on the new fireworks show itself.

Crews have been installing pilings and building out a hexagonal platform in the middle of World Showcase Lagoon for the new show. The new show will replace EPCOT Forever, which has been running after Harmonious ended its brief run in April 2023.

We expect Disney to unveil more information on EPCOT’s new nighttime spectacular at Destination D23 that will be held at Walt Disney World September 8-10.
