Disney survey reveals potential names for the Ratatouille ride in Epcot

Updated:

A new survey from Disney reveals a list of potential names for the Ratatouille ride that’s currently under construction in Epcot. The ride, which is quickly progressing behind the France Pavilion inside the World Showcase, is a clone of the popular attraction in Disneyland Paris.

In Paris, the ride is known asย Ratatouille: The Adventure in English andย Ratatouille: L’Aventure Totalement Toquรฉe de Rรฉmy in French. The Epcot version will take on a similar, yet altered name according to the survey.

Below are the choices seen in the survey:

It’s notable thatย Ratatouille: Kitchen Calamity doesn’t appear on this list, though it was rumored to be a working title.

We can gather that regardless of which option wins, the ride will be known primarily asย Ratatouille. From there, the descriptor will be a variation of Remy or Chef Remy, and then some sort of kitchen or culinary descriptor.

Which option do you think fits the best? Personally, I opt for the shorter options. If I had to pick, I think I’d go with Remy’s Culinary Chase as its more inclusive compared to the names that just say Dinner, while also sounding more professional when compared to the names that just say Kitchen. Ratatouille was centered around sophisticated dining, so the name should at least try to fit.
