Progress on the Disney Skyliner continues to advance around Walt Disney World. The past week has seen some significant changes on the Disney Skyliner stations at both Epcot and Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
At Epcot, the construction fences are starting to be removed around the Disney Skyliner station and temporary walls have been moved into place. At Hollywood Studios, finishing touches have been added around the Disney Skyliner station.
Let’s first take a look at Epcot.
The bushes on wheels are Disney’s iconic way of shielding guests from an incomplete project. However, the removal of the actual construction walls should signal that the Disney Skyliner is nearing completion.
Meanwhile, there’s some nice details being added to the Hollywood Studios station. Including a sign!
And some decorative neon lighting.
Announced for an opening window of Fall 2019, the Disney Skyliner will soon connect four resorts and two theme parks with a new and convenient mode of transportation. Though Disney has been sticking to that Fall 2019 window (for now), we wouldn’t be surprised to see things up and running well in advance of the large crowds expected for Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge in August.
