Disney Skyliner refurbishment to take place in January 2022

The Disney Skyliner will be closed for refurbishment in early 2022. The high-flying Disney transportation system is scheduled to be closed January 23-28, 2022.

Guests staying at resorts serviced by the Disney Skyliner will be able to take buses and Friendship Boats to their destination. The closure sounds like routine maintenance and is not believed to be connected to any specific incident or problem.

The Disney Skyliner opened in September 2019 and connects guests between Epcot, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort, Disney’s Riviera Resort, Disney’s Pop Century Resort and Disney’s Art of Animation Resort.
