Disney is surveying guests about the virtual queue for Rise of the Resistance

Disney is looking to gather feedback on the virtual queue boarding process for the Rise of the Resistance attraction at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. A recent survey sent to guests who had experienced the attraction asked for input on what guests prefer between the virtual queue system, the FastPass+ system and the tradition standby line system.

Thanks to @DrewDisneyDude for sharing the survey Disney sent out.

The virtual queue system is one that has been met with mixed reviews since its debut for Rise of the Resistance. Some love the ability to secure their place in line (you can see our tips to accomplish that here) and then being free to go off to do other things. Others think more of an emphasis should be placed on a first come, first served system.

Personally, we enjoyed the virtual queue system even though it was a bit frantic with everyone trying to secure a boarding pass as soon as they became available. Once we had our pass, we loved the ability to leave and go do other things. We left and went to Disney’s Animal Kingdom before returning later to experience the ride. That’s simply not possible under normal standby line conditions.

Disney will likely use this information to influence their decisions for the openings of future marquee attractions, including Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway.

Which system do you prefer?
