Disney Genie+ Prices Will Vary By Date at Disneyland and Disney World

Updated:

The price for Genie+ is increasing at both Disneyland and Walt Disney World. In addition to the price increase, the cost of Genie+ will vary by date at both destinations.

As an example, the price of Genie+ will range between $15 and $22 in October at Walt Disney World. The old price was set at $15 plus tax. At Disneyland, Genie+ was $20 but will become $25 with the price varying by date.

Individual Lightning Lane prices will increase and vary at both Disneyland and Walt Disney World. It’s unclear how high the individual prices will go, but the example given had Rise of the Resistance at Walt Disney World ranging from $15 to $22 this October.

Summarized, Genie+ will be more expensive for guests to purchase than it was before. The new variable pricing model will make planning more difficult as guests won’t be able to predict pricing ahead of time. Guests will be able to see Genie+ prices in the My Disney Experience app on the day of their visit.
