Disney College Program Hourly Pay Rate Increasing in June 2023

Updated:

Participants in the Disney College Program will receive a pay increase beginning this summer. Disney announced that beginning June 4, 2023, Disney College Program cast members will receive a pay increase to $16 per hour. That’s a $2 raise from the old rate of $14 per hour.

The pay increase will apply to both current and future Disney College Program participants.

This news is on the heels of successful negotiations between one of Walt Disney World’s largest employee unions and Disney that saw cast member minimum wages increase to $18 in 2023, and to $20 by 2026.

Cast members are the driving force behind Disney’s theme parks. Cast members are the real magic makers at Disney theme parks, whether they are college program participants, part time, full time, or even seasonal. This increase is more than deserved.
