Daily Extra Magic Hours planned in July for opening of Toy Story Land at Disney’s Hollywood Studios

Now that Toy Story Land at Disney’s Hollywood Studios has an official opening date of June 30th, Disney has also updated their park calendar to reflect daily Extra Magic Hours for the month of July.

According to the Disney theme park calendar (which is subject to change), Hollywood Studios will have daily Extra Magic Hours 7am to 8am in July. In addition to that, every Friday night will have Extra Magic Hours from 10pm to 12am. Extra magic hours are available to any guest who is staying at a Walt Disney World Resort.

The addition of daily Extra Magic Hours for a new land is a strategy Disney recently used for the opening of Pandora at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. The goal was to try and spread out some of the large crowds who were eager to take in the newest attractions at Disney World. That may prove to be more difficult at Hollywood Studios where the sheer number of attractions will still be fairly limited even with the two introduced by Toy Story Land.
