Crews are hand-painting a decorative design on Epcot’s Disney Skyliner station

A couple of fun new developments for the Disney Skyliner have taken place at Epcot’s International Gateway.

Photos, courtesy of Blog Mickey, show that the final support tower has been installed that will connect the station with the rest of the line. Crews can also be seen hand-painting the decorative design that will be on the outside of the station.

Below is the newest tower that sits near the loading area for the Friendship Boats.

The photo at the very top of the page shows the decorative painting on the outside of the station. You can see the design in the concept art below, right next to where the cables enter the station.

The actual cables should start going up in this location at some point at the end of November or early December. Once it opens in Summer 2019, the Disney Skyliner will connect several resorts and two Disney theme parks. Based on the estimated distance and travel times for the Disney Skyliner, guests will soon enjoy a unique and more convenient way to travel around Disney World property.
