Explorers Meet UP! A Great Bird Adventure is a new bird show coming to Disney’s Animal Kingdom that is replacing the old Flights of Wonder show. Hosted by Russell and Dug from Pixar’s Up, the show will take place in the old Flights of Wonder theater and will feature bird species from around the world.
Set to debut in April of 2018, the show finally has some concept art (shown above) to preview what’s in store for guests. The art depicts a variety of birds both flying around the audience and with handlers on stage.
Details on the show remain vague, but it’s safe to assume what’s in store based on the overall concept of a bird show. Here’s hoping that the show will be fun and entertaining, though we’ll guarantee now that guests will struggle to remember its name.
