Capacities increased for Disney After Hours Boo Bash events

Updated:

Looking for tickets to one of the 2021 Disney After Hours Boo Bash events this Halloween season? You may be in luck. Disney has increased capacity for the Boo Bash events and previously sold out dates are now available for purchase.

As of this morning, the only sold out dates were opening night on August 10 and Halloween night on October 31. This is a significant change as multiple dates were listed as sold out as recently as yesterday.

This change does raise some valid questions about crowds for the After Hours Boo Bash. The main selling point of After Hours events is low crowds and extremely small waits for attractions. Boosting capacity may eat into those perks, but it’s unclear just how crowded each night will be.

It’s worth reminding that the 2021 Disney After Hours Boo Bash events are not comparable to Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. While Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party featured a special parade, fireworks and more, the Boo Bash is all about walk-on attractions with some Halloween theming.

Guests planning to attend a Boo Bash event should consider buying a later date in the schedule and seeing what crowds are like on a few earlier dates.
