Bus times at Disney World added to My Disney Experience app

Bus times at Disney World have finally been added to the My Disney Experience app! The feature, one that has been requested by visitors for years, will tell Disney World guests when buses are expected to arrive and depart from Disney resorts.

Below is quick video highlighting the new feature:

Summarized, you’ll need to tap your Disney Resort reservation in order to see the bus times and expected arrival times to the various theme parks, water parks and Disney Springs.

Previously, monitors displaying when buses were expected to arrive were placed at stops at select resorts. Due to the mostly unpredictable nature of traffic and other unforeseen factors, times were often wildly inaccurate. This new system, which is hopefully a bit more sophisticated now that Disney knows guests will be relying on it heavily, will allow guests to check from their room when the next bus is supposed to arrive.

We still wouldn’t recommend cutting your time too close, but at least this will allow Disney World resort guests a more convenient way to plan their transportation.
