The new transportation plaza at Disney’s Hollywood Studios appears to be nearly completed. New aerial photos show the progress on the area where buses will deliver guests and where guests from the Epcot resorts will walk over to Hollywood Studios.
The photo at the top of the page gives an overall view of the area. The yellow arrows highlight the old pathway guests from the Epcot resorts were using to walk to the theme park. Now, the walkway along the shore has reopened.

Overall, the new area looks very nice. The location was updated in preparation of the enormous crowds expected to visit Hollywood Studios with the opening of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge.
During the construction, guests have had to walk a considerable distance from the bus stops to the main entrance. That walk was brutal during the hot summer months, but it looks like the new transportation plaza and restrooms will be worth the wait.
