A portion of the Leave a Legacy stones at Epcot have been completely removed

Updated:

Here’s a quick update on the removal of the Leave a Legacy stones at the main entrance of Epcot. The construction walls have been removed around the western portion of the old Leave a Legacy area, revealing that all of the stones on that side have been completely removed.

The area is now a wide open plaza that will eventually be transformed as Epcot overhauls its main entrance experience.

Though the stones have been removed from the west side of the area, the lighting that surrounded each stone is still in place. This has led to some really fun photo opportunities that guests are taking advantage of before the lights are eventually removed.

It’s nice to see this normally congested area opened up. Enjoy the space while you can as more construction walls are expected in the near future to start work on the overall new design of Epcot’s main entrance.
