A new sign is up for Monsters Inc Laugh Floor in Tomorrowland

Updated:

A new sign has been installed for Monsters, Inc. Laugh Floor in Tomorrowland at the Magic Kingdom. Previously, the old signage was removed in order to make the walkways a bit less congested and to continue the evolving look of Tomorrowland.

Check out the new sign below:

The new design may look familiar to longtime Magic Kingdom visitors. Tomorrowland is starting to resemble its past, as seen in the photo below from 1972. Note how the signs for the attractions are the same shape and look as the new Monsters, Inc. Laugh Floor sign.

Unrelated, but how weird does that photo of Tomorrowland look without Space Mountain?

This thematic change to Tomorrowland comes as construction begins to ramp up for the TRON coaster. Though parts of the land will adopt this more retro look, TRON will certainly change the overall experience guests have while visiting.

Stay tuned for more updates on the changes coming to Tomorrowland.
