No smoking of any kind is allowed within any of the Walt Disney World theme parks. This rule, which went into effect May 1, 2019, pushed all smoking areas outside of the theme park entrances. Guests looking to smoke will be allowed to exit and re-enter the theme parks, but will be asked to return through the security checkpoint.
Below are maps showing where the smoking locations are positioned at Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Note that these locations are subject to change, but will likely remain in the same general areas.
Magic Kingdom Smoking Area
The Magic Kingdom’s smoking area is located past the ramp up to the Monorail loading station on the walking path that takes guests to Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort. This spot is outside of the security checkpoint that guests use when arriving from the walking path.
It’s worth noting the Magic Kingdom’s smoking area used to be located near the bus area, but it has since moved.
EPCOT Smoking Areas
EPCOT has two designated smoking areas – one just outside the main entrance and one just outside the entrance at the International Gateway.
The smoking area just outside the main entrance sits on the opposite side of the bus transportation shelters.
EPCOT’s second smoking area is outside the International Gateway entrance near the Disney Skyliner loading station. The International Gateway is located in World Showcase between the France Pavilion and the United Kingdom Pavilion.
Hollywood Studios Smoking Area
The smoking area at Disney’s Hollywood Studios is located just outside the main entrance and security area on the side of the Friendship boat loading dock.
Animal Kingdom Smoking Area
The smoking area at Disney’s Animal Kingdom is just past the main entrance near the walkway to the Rainforest Cafe restaurant.
