Star Wars Celebration 2019 is taking place in Chicago this weekend and will offer new looks into Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disneyland and Walt Disney World. Ahead of the live stream that will be hosted by the Disney Parks Blog on April 13, 2019, we have a great look at the ride vehicles for the Rise of the Resistance attraction.
Each Rise of the Resistance vehicle will seat eight guests and will feature a droid sitting at the front.
As a fun addition, the safety instructions shown in the displayed ride vehicle are written in the fictional Aurebesh language. Click here to read about what we know (so far) will happen during the early stages of the ride.
The Rise of the Resistance attraction won’t be ready when the rest of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge opens on August 29, 2019 in Disney’s Hollywood Studios. An official opening date for the attraction hasn’t been announced at this time.
