Incredicoaster and Other Pixar Pier Attractions May Stay Open During ‘World of Color’ Shows

Guests may be able to enjoy World of Color – One at Disney California Adventure from a brand new vantage point in the coming weeks. Disney is reportedly planning operational tests on the Incredicoaster, Inside Out Emotional Whirlwind, and Jumpin’ Jellyfish that will keep the attractions open during World of Color – One.

The change was reported by the Orange County Register:

In the coming weeks, Incredicoaster, Inside Out Emotional Whirlwind and Jumpin’ Jellyfish may run later than usual in the evening during “World of Color – One” performances as Disney California Adventure conducts operational tests on select attractions, according to Disneyland officials.

Currently, Disney closes these attractions during World of Color performances. The Incredicoaster is used as the backdrop of World of Color shows, with the coaster’s supports hosting many lighting effects.

It’s unclear if Disney will make any modifications to the attractions while World of Color is performing. The Incredicoaster has various sound and lighting effects that could be distracting during the show, but that will likely be determined during Disney’s operational tests.
