Disneyland Park’s popular Magic Happens parade is ending for the season on October 15, 2023. The parade is wrapping up ahead of the A Christmas Fantasy Parade that will begin on November 10, 2023.
A Halloween-themed cavalcade will run in the interim between Magic Happens ending and the Christmas parade beginning, as reported by Scott Gustin.
Magic Happens is supposed to return at a later date, though Disney did not say when it will be back. It could logically return in early 2024 after the holiday season wraps, but Disney probably would have announced that if that was the case. It’s possible Magic Happens will be held until Disneyland Park needs a marketing boost to coincide with the parade’s return.
The parade has been a favorite among guests thanks to its catchy soundtrack, detailed floats, and fun mix of characters. A special shoutout to the awesome inclusion of Sword in the Stone and dancing Merlin. Magic Happens could be a bit longer in terms of its length, but that might be a nitpick.
Magic Happens originally debuted back in February 27, 2020. The closure of all Disney parks worldwide brought an abrupt end to the parade’s run. It was almost three years before Magic Happens entertained Disneyland guests again, returning on February 26, 2023.
