Best Rides for Adults at Disney’s Hollywood Studios

Date:

Disney’s Hollywood Studios is one of the best parks for adults at Walt Disney World. Though the park doesn’t have a long list of attractions, it is home to some of Disney’s more intense rides.

Below is our list of the top rides for adults at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Disagree with our picks? Let us know in the comments.

Rise of the Resistance

Rise of the Resistance Hangar

Rise of the Resistance might be the best attraction in Walt Disney World. The ride is incredibly immersive and is impressive even if you’re not a Star Wars fan.

Rise of the Resistance uses trackless vehicles to whip riders around a Star Wars story. The full experience is full of convincing effects and a queue that may make guests question when the ride even begins. With just one quick drop, Rise of the Resistance isn’t too intense and should be enjoyed by all guests.

Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster

Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster is one of the most intense rides you’ll find at Walt Disney World. It’s also the only ride that goes upside down. Guests go from zero to almost 60 miles per hour (57 to be precise) as they speed along in a super stretch limousine on the way to the backstage area of an Aerosmith concert.

This coaster is by far the most exhilarating that Disney offers in Florida.

Twilight Zone Tower of Terror

The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror is one of those classic Disney attractions. Guests visit the infamous Hollywood Tower Hotel, the site where hotel patrons mysteriously vanished when lighting struck the building in 1939.

The fun starts upon boarding the elevator, where guests are taken on a wild up-and-down thrill ride. The attraction’s unique ride system makes guests feel weightless, which means those with weak stomachs should steer clear.

Slinky Dog Dash

Slinky Dog Dash is a great coaster the whole family can enjoy. The ride isn’t very intense, but it’s a lot of fun to board a Slinky Dog and zip around Toy Story Land. Two launches speed the trains around the track, though the highlights are the dips and banks around fun Toy Story theming.

Toy Story Mania

Want to compete against your family or friends? Toy Story Mania is the ride for you. Summarized, Toy Story Mania is an interactive arcade game. But, this ride has some fun 3D effects and rotates guests through a variety of fun mini games.

We’ll be honest – sometimes things get overly competitive on this ride. The quest for the high score is very real and will make you want to ride Toy Story Mania again and again.
