Disney Cruise Line has announced their itineraries for Summer 2025, and there’s some big changes in store. Perhaps one of the largest announcements involves the Disney Fantasy leaving its Port Canaveral post to begin sailing in Europe.
The Disney Fantasy will sail a 13-night Eastbound Transatlantic Cruise departing from Port Canaveral on May 4, 2025 before arriving in Barcelona on May 17, 2025. After arriving in Barcelona, the Disney Fantasy will begin sailing different itineraries around Europe and the Mediterranean Sea.
While stationed in Europe, the Disney Fantasy will primarily sail out of Southampton (UK) and Barcelona (Spain), with a few additional itineraries sailing out of Civitavecchia (Rome). The Disney Fantasy will visit iconic destinations such as Greece, Italy, France, Norway, and other countries during its European tours.
Back at Port Canaveral, the newly-launched Disney Treasure will continue sailing the 7-night Eastern and Western Caribbean itineraries in Summer 2025. The Disney Treasure will take over this role beginning with its maiden voyage on December 21, 2024.
As excited as we are to experience the Disney Treasure on longer voyages, we’ll miss the Disney Fantasy. It’s our favorite ship in Disney’s fleet. Take care of her, Europe!
