Prices Increase to Rent a Cabana at Disney’s Castaway Cay

Date:

It just got a little more expensive to enjoy a cabana at Disney Cruise Line’s private island Castaway Cay. Disney has increased the prices for all of the cabanas at Castaway Cay, including the Family Beach Cabanas, the Grand Cabana, and the Serenity Bay Cabanas.

The always great Disney Cruise Line Blog first alerted us of the price increases. They note that existing bookings will retain the original price from when they booked, but new bookings will all pay the higher prices.

Be aware that Castaway Cay cabana pricing can be seasonal, and is subject to change without notice. The prices below do not include local Bahamas taxes.

Family Beach Cabanas
Old price: $599 for up to six guests ($649 seasonally)
New price: $797.50 for up to six guests

Grand Cabana
Old price: $949
New price: $1,127.50 for up to 10 guests

Serenity Bay Cabanas
Old price: $399
New price: $493.90 for up to four guests

Historically, the cabanas at Castaway Cay have always booked up extremely quickly. Guests usually need to be staying at the concierge level to have a chance to reserve a cabana. Some cabanas will filter down to platinum level guests, but it’s extraordinarily rare for gold and silver guests to have an opportunity to book a cabana.

These price increases probably won’t change how difficult it is to reserve a cabana on Castaway Cay. Is it worth the money? Here’s our Castaway Cay Family Beach Cabana review and our thoughts on whether it’s worth the price.
