Construction on Tiana’s Bayou Adventure at Magic Kingdom keeps pressing forward ahead of its announced Summer 2024 opening. While guests have spotted water and ride vehicles (the logs!) being tested, workers continue to put the finishing touches on the attraction’s exterior and queue.
Big shoutout to DC Baker for once again capturing great pictures of Tiana’s Bayou Adventure.
All of the new landscaping, both real and artificial, successfully transforms Tiana’s Bayou Adventure into a more lush setting compared to Splash Mountain’s Frontierland aesthetic. Some Disney fans have complained that Tiana’s doesn’t look quite as tall as Splash Mountain, thus losing its mountain designation, but we think it still looks good.
Next, we can see work taking place in the queue, and a great look at the new mural.
We can’t see inside Tiana’s Bayou Adventure (as much as we’d love to), but the ride’s exterior is looking like it’ll be ready in plenty of time for summer. In fact, at its current pace it looks like it could be ready for early summer. That’d allow plenty of time for cast member previews and even annual passholder previews before its official opening later in the summer.
